With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the extension of life expectancy, various post-learning support systems using university level resources are being promoted so that adult learners can receive high-quality higher education while working and studying at the same time. Therefore, the Department of Maritime Industry Convergence is being established to train people with international usability and practical capabilities for those who have worked in the maritime and maritime industries and those who have worked in government agencies such as the Korea coast guard. With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the advent of smart eco-friendly vessels, the Department of Maritime Industrial Convergence is running a new industrial convergence curriculum that combines advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, carbon neutrality, autonomous operation, and electricity.
