- A candidate eligible for active-duty military service is recognized as having completed the service if he is employed on board at a shipping company after graduation and is included in the reserve position for onboard service and works on board for 3 years (including the legal annual leave) within 5 years.
- Partial exemption of the tuition for 4 years (in areas designated by the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries for 4 years after graduation)
- Gov’t support for cadet dorm and clothing
- Participating in various programs that improve foreign language skills
- Learning international sense and leadership in the shipping and maritime sectors by traveling around the world during the on-board training in the cutting-edge training ship
- Able to become a naval officer as N-ROTC
- A student of Division of Naval Officer Science can choose either seaman (marine mate, engineer) or naval officer.
